Idea:
We were asked to create a campaign for Kobalt, Lowe’s proprietary brand of tools and increase their “share of toolbox” with consumers. Our idea was to communicate the tools were so great, they should require a warning label.

Since most tools are purchased in-store based on the quality or the “feel” of the tool, we wanted to create that similar experience online. Our Tool Explorer allows users to test-drive the products through striking photography, and 360-degree transitions, giving them a full experience of Kobalt’s quality.

Result:
Users have interacted with the rich media on average over 14 seconds. Click through rates are above industry average. And users have created over 10,000 unique shopping lists and searches for their nearest Lowe’s store.
